Say hi!

Hi!

I’m Henrik Stenson.

There is nothing that I like more than playing golf!

Even as a young child, my greatest dream was to become the best player in the world. I would spend hours in the yard at home, hitting golf balls into a bucket, and not giving up until every single shot made it in.

On some days I did really well. On other days not as well as I had hoped for. But thanks to my stubbornness and self-confidence, my dream really did come true – and today, I am one of the best players in the world.

How about you – what dream would you like to see come true?

It doesn’t have to be a dream about golf. It can be anything.

But you’ll need patience, because making your dream really happen might take time. That’s why it’s important for you to choose something you really love to do.

But remember: your dream has to be good and kind, and it has to be your own dream, not someone else’s!

Hey, it looks like Hank the Mouse just showed up and wants to tell my story and share my best advice with you. Give him some attention, and don’t give up on your dream, just believe in yourself!

Good luck, friend!

“If Hank can, so can you!”

Henrik Stenson achieved his childhood dream and so can you, as long as you believe in yourself. That's the message in ”Go for it Hank”, a picture book for children and their grown ups that Henrik Stenson wrote together with the illustrator and author Ebba Ómarsson/Dagsdotter.

Throughout the book we get to follow Hank on a short round of golf. With every hole the reader gets little pieces of advice that shows you how you can reach your dream, no matter what your dream is.

The Henrik Stenson Foundation is also a beneficiary of the Paragolf movement in Sweden.

"Maybe I will watch some highlights from last year's win and then 15 minutes on the Henke Golfmus book, and we should be good by Thursday morning."
